Fort-night
See what I did there with the title haha:) Anyways, my middle-school brother Cooper has been begging me to build and fort with him since before quarantine began and this weekend we finally got around to it! If you've been looking for a sign to get the sibs together and build a fort- this is it! Do it for the mems!!!
*If you have younger siblings or even older ones that are down for a sleepover, this project is actually so fun! I get bored pretty easily with routine, so the experience of sleeping somewhere different and changing up the monotony of the week was something I desperately needed! It felt exactly like a sleepover that ten-year-old Lauren would have adored!
This extremely unaesthetic and odd picture is to show that making forts are not easy as it appears, and often they won't look very pretty (ours certainly did not haha). But the inside can be a totally different story!
I guess I don't really have a guide to building a fort because that can be very discretionary given your environment, but I would recommend putting up some string lights and making your little brother lay down and stare at your laptop home screen while you take pictures of him for your blog (at least that's what I did). We also chose a movie to watch before going to sleep and fell asleep way before it was done (another sleepover ritual).
Much love and hand sanitizer,
Three Quarantined Gals (Lauren)
